Making the Overly-complex Overly-simple

Making the Overly-complex Overly-simple

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar” a statement credited to Freud long ago, cautioning analysts against making something so simple overly-complex.

When designing Crescendo’s SmartHome systems, we analyzed everything: the above wisdom, inclusive. Accordingly, we’ve succeeded in making the overly-complex simple, and not the other way around.

Perhaps it’s a bit tangential, but I was reminded of the above tenet today, when watching Ikea’s “Bookbook” video: a parity on Apple’s product releases. This video is brilliant, and is a must see!
