-Vaccinated Americans can now visit Canada-
If you are suffering from cabin fever or itching to hit the road and have an adventure, there is great news! Canada opened up its borders on August 9th to vaccinated Americans. So if you want to escape to the great outdoors, look no further than Big White, a small picturesque ski town outside of Kelowna in British Columbia, Canada. Travelers must fly into Vancouver and take a puddle jumper to Kelowna.
Summer and Fall are equally as beautiful up in Big White with plenty of fun outdoor activities, including hiking, golfing, watersports, tasting fine wines, or mountain biking on 19 different trails. There are also two new parks to check out – including a new beginner’s bike park for those interested in learning how to mountain bike on challenging terrain. The park provides a safe space for those who want to test their comfort level before entering the main Bike Big White park. The second park offers a new type of outdoor adventure that is free – a nine-hole disc golf course. Both parks are open now through September 6th.
So if you have been vaccinated, plan your fun and safe outdoor experience now. Book online, pack your bags and vaccine cards, and come on up! If you can’t make it up here this summer, then ski season will be upon us before we know it! Big White’s ski resorts offer ski-in and ski-out convenience while its cute village includes shops, bars, restaurants, an award-winning Kids Centre and other fun facilities.
And if you and your family need a perfect place to stay, you will surely want to stay at our Crescendo in Big White. At 5,200 square feet, Crescendo is perfect for the whole family, any time of the year.
